quick update:

I have no idea what is going on. :)

I feel like the water has just picked me up and it's taking me wherever I'm supposed to be.  I'm just going with it.

------

Wednesday, one of Christopher's teachers told him he had a job for me and asked us to come to his office that night so he could meet me.  We went.  He told me that one of his good friends who is a Chiropractor in Greenville needs some temporary part-time help.  I have no idea what to think, but I say I'm in, and he calls the doc while we're there.  After leaving a message, he told me he would contact me when he heard back.  Exit scene.

Thursday, around 10am I get a call from the doc.  He asks me a few questions about myself then asked if I'd be willing to come to his office at 1:30 that afternoon.  Yes.

I get to his office, we sit down with the two girls who work the desk, and we have a mini group interview.  Afterwards, he asks me if I want to stay and work the rest of the day.  Yes.

So I have a job now.  It part-time but super amazing.  It's more than I could have asked for.  Everyone is so awesome and I'm still available mornings, Wednesdays, and weekends to get everything done that I need to do.  I still feel so overwhelmed by it because it happened so fast, but I'm so very thankful for this opportunity.

Wednesday, I get an email from the sweet lady I met with a couple weeks ago at Converse.  She was the one I talked to about the Master's program.  She encouraged me to talk to the lady in charge of Converse II (which is their continuing education program).

Thursday morning I emailed her back, and even though I had already applied for Converse II, I emailed the director anyway and told her my situation.  She informed me that because I'm not 24 years old, I cannot be accepted into the program.  She said my only option was to go through the traditional undergraduate program.  At this point I'm only seeing dollar signs flashing before my eyes.

So I email the director of admissions for undergrad studies.  After much redirection and explanation, this morning we set up an appointment for me to speak with her, get a tour of the campus, and talk to the head of the Art Ed department and financial aid office.

As I said, I have no idea what's going on.  I'm just pursuing what I know to pursue and having faith that it's going to work out perfectly.

It's been a busy two days to say the least.

I'm also waiting to hear back from my dear friend at the yoga studio to see if I can switch nights with someone since my Tuesdays are now busy.  Fingers crossed!  It's been cool volunteering with them.

Prepare your work outside; get everything ready for yourself in the field, and after that build your house.
